Registration Registration will take place starting on Friday, July 1st at 8:00 am CDT and will end at 5:00 pm CDT on Wednesday, July 13th. To register, log into your player's account at www.tgajuniortour.com and click on the tournaments tab. There will be a registration button above the tournaments which, when selected, will allow you to select the Tour Division Regional Championship at Henry Horton. Each player will be approved by a Junior Tour staff member before they are accepted into the tournament. If we reach capacity we will begin a waiting list and will fill the tournament field as spots open up. As in regular Junior Tour events, after tee times are created (July 15th) if a spot becomes available we will fill that spot on a division need basis. For example, if a 16-18 Tour boy withdraws after tee times have been created, we will fill his spot with the first 16-18 Tour boys on the waiting list. If a spot becomes available in the event, we will contact the appropriate player over the phone.
About the Golf Course The Buford Ellington championship golf course at Henry Horton State Park is one of the finest courses in the state of Tennessee. The course measures 5,625 yards from the Forward tees and 7,020 yards from the Championship tees. This challenging course is heavily treed with hardwoods and contains 37 bunkers. Although the length may scare some golfers away, the fairways are generous in width and the greens larger than average. There are three sets of tees to accommodate every skill level and a friendly staff waiting to insure an enjoyable round of golf.
Two holes of distinction are #10 and #14. The Signature and number one handicap hole, #10 is a par 4, 461-yard uphill dogleg left with the green guarded by a bunker on the right. Number 14 is a 259-yard par 3, one of the longest par threes in Tennessee.
