Tour Division Regional Championships
July 19 & 20 at Henry Horton GC (Middle Tennessee)
July 19 & 20 at The Links at Galloway (West Tennessee)
July 21 & 22 at Springbrook G&CC (Chattanooga/Knoxville)
July 21 & 22 at Millstone GC (Knoxville/Tri-Cities)
Registration will take place starting tomorrow morning, Thursday, July 1st at 8:00 am CDT for all four (4) of our Tour Division Regional Championships. To get registered, log into your player's account at www.tgajuniortour.com and click on the tournaments tab. There will be a small box that you can check next to the four (4) tournament names that, when selected, will allow you to register for that particular event.
Each player will need to have competed or be scheduled to compete in as least three (3) regular season events for their application to be approved. If we reach capacity in a certain event we will begin a waiting list and will fill the tournament field as spots open up. As in regular Junior Tour events, after tee times are created (July 16th) if a spot becomes available we will fill that spot on a division need basis. For example, if a 16-18 Tour boy withdraws after tee times have been created, we will fill his spot with the first 16-18 Tour boys on the waiting list. If a spot becomes available in the event, we will contact the appropriate player over the phone.
Vince Gill Volunteer of the Year
Nomination forms are now available for the 2010 Vince Gill Volunteer of the Year. All the information on this award can be found by viewing the “Awards” section on www.tgajuniortour.com.
The deadline for submitting the nominations is Friday, July 23rd at 5:00pm CDT. The award will be given out at the Tournament of Champions awards presentation on the afternoon of July 28th at The Golf Club of Tennessee.
