FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Franklin, TN) – We are pleased to announce the re-launch of the Toyota TGA Junior Tour website (www.tgajuniortour.com). We encourage everyone to visit and look around to be sure you are up to date on all the 2012 information. We want to take a moment to point out a few important parts of the website that we feel everyone needs to look at before we get the year started:

1.)    Better “Membership Sign-Up” navigation: On the lower left-hand side of the homepage you will see a box called “Three Steps to Easy Registration”. If you “follow the tees” it will help you navigate through our policies to ensure you are registering for the proper division and membership level. When registration opens on February 20th at 8:00 AM CDT you will have all the knowledge to quickly make your way through the forms.

2.)    New “Divisions” for 2012: Hopefully many of you read the “Improvements and Changes” article that we sent out over the Christmas holiday and saw where we were adjusting some of our age divisions for this upcoming year. You can review those new changes as well as the yardage guidelines within those divisions by clicking on the “Divisions of Play Chart” under the “Policies” section of the website.

3.)    Spring Rules Clinics: Much like years past, in order to be eligible for early tournament registration (April 14th) the Junior Tour member must attend one of our rules clinics. New to 2012, in addition to the clinics in person we will have a series of these clinics online through the use of “webinars”. This will allow members the opportunity to learn the rules and policies from the comfort of their home. More information on the dates and times of these two types of rules clinics will be available when membership registration opens on February 20th.

4.)    New “Pace of Play” policy for 2012: We highly encourage all past members to check out our new pace of play policy which can be viewed by looking under the “Policies” section of the website. We experimented with the “Under Four” philosophy at a few events last year and have decided to implement the philosophy Tour-wide starting in 2012.
