FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Franklin, TN.) – Well, one week is down and we have many more to go. Every Sunday we will be sending out an email with event deadlines for the upcoming week and any policies that we feel we can reinforce to better your experience on our Tour.

  1. Pace of Play: We hope those that competed in an event last week were satisfied with our new “Pace of Play” policy for 2012. After receiving reports from each event it seems it had a tremendous impact. We had NO events that averaged rounds over 4 hours, 30 minutes. You will continue to see this policy in effect so if you have any questions, please talk to our staff on site.

  2. Spots Available in Events with Deadlines Next Week: We have a full slate of events with deadlines next week and some spots are still available. See below for specifics:

    1. June 11: Lost Creek GC (Knoxville) – 37 spots open
    2. June 12: Dandridge GC (Knoxville) – 17 spots open
    3. June 12: Dayton G&CC (Chattanooga) – 33 spots open
    4. June 12: Milan G&CC (Jackson Area) – 20 spots open
    5. June 13: Ted Rhodes GC (Nashville) – 14 spots open
    6. June 13: Cattails at Meadowview (Tri Cities) – 20 spots open
    7. June 13: Lakehaven G&CC (Chattanooga) – 20 spots open
    8. June 14: Forest Hills GC (West TN) – 44 spots open
    9. June 15: Wee Course (Knoxville) – 27 spots open

  3. Plates/Medals: Don’t forget to grab your participation plate or medal (if achieved) at each event. If you forget, please check with the staff at your next event. If they do not have them, we will send out an email at the end of the season indicating that we will mail additional plates and medals once we receive all the extras from the field staff.

  4. Event Reminder Emails: For every event you are signed up for, you will receive an “event reminder email” about 5 days prior to the event letting you know that we have you registered to play. We send these to make sure that all those registered are still able to play. Most events have a waiting list, so if we have players that are registered but know that they cannot play it is better for us to know that ahead of time so we can try to fill that spot.

Well, that is all for this week. We can’t thank everyone enough for helping us out with the pace of play and we encourage everyone to continue working hard to keep our rounds under 4 hours, 30 minutes. Let’s set an example for the rest of the country to show everyone that you can play fast and still have fun.

Kind Regards,

Steve and Lissa
