Masters Division

The Masters Division is the highest form of competition offered by the Toyota TGA Junior Tour. This division is designed for the lower handicapped players ages 12-18. These players should have a proven ability to compete at a high level and a strong will to excel in tournament conditions. The Toyota TGA Junior Tour expects Masters Division players to be exemplary role models for all players. Players must be very knowledgeable of the USGA Rules of Golf as well as the etiquette and traditions of the game that are guarded so strongly by the Tennessee Golf Association.

Players MUST be on the "Masters Division Eligibility List" in order to compete within this division. The reason for creating this list was two-fold. One, we are strongly committed to offering the highest level of competition within the State of Tennessee. In other words, we want the most skilled players to be competing with players of similar ability. By creating this list we feel that is possible to achieve. Secondly, the time already spent in creating this list will minimize the time it will take for a member to become fully registered for the Tour. In years past when a player would apply for membership it would take up to 48 hours for the Tour office to verify the player had applied for the correct division. Now, with a set list of players eligible for the Masters Divisions it will minimize the turn around on an application to less than 24 hours.
