2009 Rules Clinics |
| In keeping with our mission, each member of the Tour will be provided the opportunity of Rules education. A player can receive Rules education by attending one of eleven (11) clinics during the Spring. These clinics will consist of two-parts occuring simultaneously. The first half will be a rules sessions, both in-class and on-course that will cover basic rules that every junior golfer should be educated on. The second half will be a parent/guardian specific meeting that will concentrate on spectator policies as well as a discussion on where the Tour is headed. Each clinic will last around two hours and the starting times are local. The Spring 2009 schedule is as follows: |

| Our hope for these clinics is to help players minimize the problematic rules occurances that take place almost every day during the Tour season. Many people do not realize that the rules can also benefit a player and we hope that as members attend these clinics they will more fully understand the benefit a knowledge of the rules can have during a tournament. In years past these type clinics were mandatory, but with registration still taking place throughout the Tour season, that is no longer possible. That being said, we want to offer an incentive to those members that attend one of our clinics. In 2009 tournament registration will occur differently (click here for expanded explanation). Early tournament registration will begin on April 6, 2009 at 8:00 am CDT. If a prospective member has attended one of the above clinics as well as previously signed up for membership registration, they will be able to take advantage of early tournament registration. For those that have not attended one of the above clinics, regular tournament registration will open April 13, 2009 at 8:00 am CDT. |
