WEEK SEVEN HIGHLIGHTS

(Franklin, TN) - With just one week to go in the season some players are making big moves for the chance to compete in our season-ending championships. Below are the highlights from week seven on Tour:

1. Travis Ross of Benton, KY. shot a even par 72 at Brownsville CC on July 3rd to capture the Boys 16-18 Masters title by 7 strokes

2. Rafael Jackson of Rutledge shot a 5 under par 67 at Clinchview GC in Bean Station to capture the Boys 16-18 Masters Division by 5 strokes.

3. Kyle Brink (Lawrenceburg) shot his low round of the year (1-under par 70) at Old Natchez CC to win the 16-18 Masters Division by 2 shots.

4. Kyle Harris (Antioch) continued his winning ways by picking up his second win of the season at Two Rivers GC in Nashville.

5. Haley Cothran of Soddy Daisy shot an impressive under par round of 69 at Creeks Bends GC in Hixson.

6. Ethan Rawdon of Hohenwald fired a 1-under par total of 143 to capture the Boys 16-18 title at the TMACS at Ross Creek Landing GC.

7. Zach Botts (Jonesborough) shot an even par 71 at Cattails at Meadowview in Kingsport. His even par round captured the Boys 12-13 Masters title by 9 strokes.

8. Adam Clark of Newbern shot a 2-under par 70 at Cherokee Valley in Olive Branch, MS.

9. Grant Hirschman (Collierville) shot a 74 at Cherokee Valley to win the Boys 12-13 Division by 7 strokes.

10. Wesley Jones of Seymour shot a 2 under par round of 33 at Creekside Plantation GC to win the Boys 8-9 Micro by 14 strokes.

11. Riley Rennell of Franklin shot a 1-over 30 at the Smyrna Municipal Par 3 course.

12. Aubree Jones (Covington) shot a 31 at Windyke CC to capture the Girl 8-11 Micro by 4 strokes.

13. Both Jayna Choi (Collierville) and Drew Miller (Arlington) shot matching 24's on six holes to capture the Girls 4-7 and Boys 4-7 divisions respectively at Windyke CC in Memphis.

Disqualifications:   9 Total

5: Signed for a lower score than taken. Rule 6-6

2: Hit a shot on the competition course during suspension of play before play was resumed. Rule 6-8

1: Late to tee.

1: Returned scorecard with only one signature

Three warnings were given out throughout the week to those players that acted in an unsportsmanlike manner (i.e. club throwing, cursing, defacing golf course property). The first offense is a verbal warning while subsequent offenses will result in disqualification and/or suspension.
Note: Please do not throw clubs, curse or deface any golf course property. We are very fortunate to have access to many golf courses throughtout the state, and acts such as these could result in non-committments from these courses in the future.
