WEEK TWO HIGHLIGHTS

(Franklin, TN) - Week two of the 2008 season is in the books and below are some highlights from this week tournaments:

1. Eight-year old Nicholas Henderson of Greenbrier shot a 44 at the difficult Old Hickory CC to capture the 8-9 Micro Division on June 2nd. Nicholas won by two stroke over Chase McKissack of Nashville.

2. Ben Wolcott of Burns (12-13 Masters) carded a 77 at Clarksville CC on June 2nd and it turned out to be the low round of the day out of any division. Ben won the 12-13 Division by 18 strokes.

3. Mason Griffin of Kingston fires two even par rounds at the start of the week. He carded a 72 at Dandridge G&CC on June 2nd and then back it up with another 72 at Oak Ridge on June 3rd.

4. Kyle Long of Humboldt shot a 6-under par round of 66 at The Farms at Dyersburg on June 2nd. His 66 matched the low round of the season with Taylor Manning of Brentwood achieving that score last week at GreyStone GC.

5. All three places in the 10-11 Micro Division shot par of better at The Links at Galloway on June 3rd. Gregory Gionfriddo shot 35 and Daniel Booker Jr. and Landon Cottrell both shot 36.

6. Riley Rennell (9-years old) of Columbia shot 32 at The Little Course at Conner Lane on June 6th. Her 32 gave her an eight stroke victory in the Girls 8-11 Micro Division.

7. MacInnis Kraus of Blountville shot 33 at Beverly Park in Knoxville for an 8 stroke victory in the Boys 10-11 Micro Division.

Disqualifications:  6 Total

2: Signed for a lower score than taken. Rule 6-6

2: Played from a wrong place and did correct mistake before teeing on on next hole. (1) Rule 27-1, (1) Rule 26

2: Failure to hole out. Players thought there was a stroke limit and picked up ball before being holed out.
